Join leading voices in trauma research and healing as we bring together an exceptional lineup of speakers for Transform Trauma Oxford 2026.
We are delighted to confirm Gabor MatĂ©, Bessel van der Kolk, Licia Sky, Tara Swart and many more to come. These distinguished professionals will share groundbreaking insights, innovative strategies and proven methodologies centred around this year’s theme of Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing.
Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing
Science, Spirit, and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing brings together leading thinkers and practitioners to explore how modern science, embodied practice, and spiritual understanding converge to create a more integrated vision of healing.
Transform Trauma Oxford 2026 invites participants into a shared inquiry around these interconnected dimensions and what it means to heal – personally, relationally and collectively.Â
The Synthesis of Healing sits at crossroads of neuroscience, embodiment and spirituality and examines the future of human health. How do science and spirit inform one another? What role does the body play as the living bridge between mind and spirit? Â
Through conversation and practice, we will seek to bridge knowledge and experience, intellect and presence, in service of a more compassionate humanity.Â

Will the sessions be live streamed for virtual attendees?
All main stage sessions will be live-streamed, these include sessions taking place at the New Theatre, Town Hall, Trinity Lecture Theatre, Balliol Marquee, Exeter Marquee, the Randolph, and the Weston Library.
Smaller workshop sessions will generally not be live-streamed. For example, sessions taking place in the Trinity Garden Room will be in-person only.
Evening events will also not be live-streamed and are available to in-person attendees only.
Please check the individual session listings in the schedule.

The scholarship pricing is lowest we can offer for in-person or virtual tickets.
Can I pay for my ticket in instalments?
Yes. You may choose to pay via PayPal at checkout and select the “Pay in 3” option. Please note that PayPal’s instalment options are only available in certain countries, as determined by PayPal.
Can I purchase a ticket for just 1 or 2 days, or can I attend virtually for one day and in-person for the other days?
No. We do not offer single-day tickets or hybrid virtual/in-person tickets. Accommodation
General Information
Accommodation at Oxford colleges offers a quintessential “Oxford experience.” These historic colleges are steeped in tradition, with beautiful architecture and grounds to explore.
We are also offering a variety of additional accommodation options, including a selection of more upmarket hotel options. Availability is limited, and we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that:
- Accommodation is offered only as a five-night package
- Accommodation in the colleges is single occupancy.
- Accommodation in the hotels is based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is possible; however, no reduction in the accommodation fee will apply.
- We are unable to amend dates or offer partial refunds for unused nights.
Please also note that the Basic College Accommodation options offered on the accommodation page are basic student accommodation and are very different from hotel stays, which is reflected in the cost.
These college rooms are functional and designed for students, with camp-style beds or thin mattresses, and minimal furnishings. Towels and linen are provided but are basic, and guests may wish to bring their own for added comfort.
This basic accommodation is offered because it is the most cost-effective option in Oxford and allows guests to stay within historic Oxford college buildings. Facilities within the rooms are extremely simple. Please only book college accommodation if affordability and location are your priority, rather than comfort or luxury.
