Accessibility Overview

We acknowledge the importance of accessibility for all participants. Although our event takes place across different venues, we are dedicated to promoting inclusivity. Code of Ethics Statement: It is the responsibility of every attendee to abide by the standards set forth in the Code of Ethics for maintaining security and confidentiality of test materials and proprietary information presented as part of this continuing education program. Any materials used as part of this program may not be copied or otherwise distributed, and no proprietary information will be disclosed by attendees to any person not registered for this program.

Conflict of Interest Statement: There is no commercial support for this program nor are there any relationships between the CE Sponsor, presenting organization, presenter, program content, research, grants, or other funding that could reasonably be construed as conflicts of interest. Interior Access: Level access is provided to the ground floor of the main auditorium. There is no lift access to upper levels. Stairs are old and worn, with handrails on the left side only. (Source: accessguide.ox.ac.uk)

Interior Access: All sections require steps to access; however, a wheelchair-accessible lift provides access to the Stalls. Wheelchair bays are located at the rear of the Stalls. (Source: seatplan.com)

Entrances: The main entrance is not level and requires step access. Alternative access is available via the North Entrance.)

Interior Access: A lift is available for step-free access to different floors.

Facilities: Three wheelchair-accessible toilets are available:

  • Ground floor near the other public toilets.
  • Council corridor opposite the Lord Mayor’s Parlour.
  • Rear of the Main Hall, accessible from both the Main Hall and first-floor landing. When double doors from the landing are closed, mobility-impaired persons may need assistance. Facilities: Additional accessibility options at the Bodleian Library include:

  • Step-free access to public areas in the Weston Library and Old Library.
  • An access guide with images and details about accessibility.
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Alternative arrangements for visitors who cannot access collections.

Entrances: The main entrance is stepped. Ramped access is available through an alternative entrance immediately to the left of the main entrance, featuring a secure powered door.

Interior Access: Lift access is available throughout the building. Most areas of the building have step-free access.
